How it works
Your GPA is a credit-weighted average: multiply each course's grade points by its credits, add them up and divide by total credits: GPA = Σ(credits × grade points) / Σ credits.
Standard 4.0 scale: A 4.0 · A− 3.7 · B+ 3.3 · B 3.0 · B− 2.7 · C+ 2.3 · C 2.0 · C− 1.7 · D+ 1.3 · D 1.0 · F 0. To get your cumulative GPA, also enter your previous GPA and the total credits it covers.
Some schools use different scales (e.g. A+ = 4.3). Check your institution's policy.
